My comic now has a website: Outside Life! This is the place for feedback to it for now! I would most appreciate any response.

( Sorry about some blurriness, I've been using this small ringed sketchpad, and it doesn't scan well! )

Also: I need to learn how to see things and think "oh, I could use that as an avatar!"

I have a few things to talk about today!

1. I have been planning to draw a bunch of pictures for people and send them to them! This probably would be a lot cooler if I did it in secret, just stuff showing up in mailboxes, but I realized that I need to know things. So. If you want a drawing, say something to me here, or on IM (thatdrazperson on AIM/YIM), or on IRC, and give me a clue on what sort of art you like, and what sort you don't care for as much. My brain just doesn't function if there are too many possibilities for what to do! And I'll need an address for some of you.

Note: This will probably take so long to complete that you'll forget about it by the time you get anything. Almost as good as if it was secret!

2. If any of you are in Boston for some reason, there's a show that I have art there! Er, it's for disabled people, which might make it more interesting, and it might not really be a show-y show. But I feel I must advertise! It's at 2 Boylston St., Suite #211, from September 15 to October 31!

3. And because I am just in Try to Enter Shows Mode, I am thinking of trying to enter a juried drawing show. Which drawings of the ones posted here do you think are the best to submit?

New journal for Outside Life is outside_life. It's empty now, but will update next Sunday, if I succeed in getting the comic up on time! Add it to your friends lists if you want!

I will post art soon, I think, but I have a question for people! Should I syndicate my comic on LJ? That is, (if perhaps I've used the word wrong) should I post an LJ update with the comic each week so that people will be able to better keep track of it? I know that Dinosaur Comics does this...and Rice Boy, too. Or, Rice Boy did, I guess.

And if so, should it perhaps be on a different account or just this one?

( I got a wonderful new tablet and so I've been doing digital art! )

I should maybe do an entry for each thing instead of for a bunch of stuff! I think the only reason I don't seem to is laziness. Also: I was doing a thing where I take the colors from a photo I am referencing for some of that, so it was a little bit cheating! But still drawn other than that.

So, I have been meaning to ask this outside of my away message on IM! I am looking for pictures of people to draw from. As it is I just draw myself, and it's kind of nice to draw people you know! They would kind of have to be things that aren't too silly or smiling for the camera-y. I guess they could be nudes, but I am asking all of my friends for this so it's probably a weird thing to go and ask for naked pictures. I really do need to work on drawing clothes, anyway! I can't really promise I'd post a drawing of each picture I get, but I will certainly post any that turn out good, unless for some reason someone doesn't want me to.

So, I guess you could send them to drazahoib at outside-life dot com ? Or get them to me however else you want!

I haven't really been doing so much art for the past few weeks, ( but here are a few drawings that got made anyway. )

I went to a couple of unintructed life drawing things a couple weeks ago. I meant to post this right after I went but I guess I'm just some sort of procrastinating person. ( So yes, drawings. )
